Mythos - a great Greek beer

Mythos Beer of Greece. Mythos is a Greek beer with a rich head, bright blond coulour, and a pleasant refreshing taste with long-lasting aftertaste that makes it pleasant and refreshing.

Mythos is the second largest beer brand in Greece, as is always served in its distinct, green bottle of 330 ml or 500 ml.

Beer brewing started in Greece during the 19th century, as a Bavarian brewmaster was appointed. During the second part of the 19th century, the brands of Amstel and Heineken (the former was bought by Heineken in 1968) have been controlling the Greek beer market. One of the lesser groups, Henninger, created the brand of Mythos in May 1997, and the Mythos brand belongs to Carlsberg since 2008 as well as the Henniger group.

The Mythos beer is currently produced in Thessaloniki in Northern Greece, and is exported to many countries around the world including USA.
